After 3 days assembling 3 gearboxes I finally had 1 of them finished. 2 more were soon to follow.

Geez Louise... Sink the boots in why don't ya. Normally people that know me for at least 2 weeks know that I'm a butcher. But your out of luck with Scaifw. He is one of the only guys who doesn't want a sequential box at this stage.

Any 2 speed gearboxes available?
just 3rd and 4th gears and reverse for an electric conversion
if no reverse Ill just reverse the engine polarity to spin the other way.

Anything is possible. It would be a simple enouth process to convert a 1200 or 120Y gearbox to 2 speed. Remove 1st and 2nd gear and fit a spacer where they used to be then fit a small block to the shifter rail so that it prevents entry to 1st/2nd. Just a forward/backward 3/4 shift and reverse. The gear nob would read like this.
