The 56a five speed was originally for right drive [cable clutch] but has been converted to hydraulic operarion as if for LHD use.

The F5W56A five speeds [bottom right] were all cable clutch operation as they were offered only in GX models & these were made only in RHD configuration as far as I know. However the main gearbox case was the same as the four speed one which came in LHD cars, so it was cast & machined to enable either cable or hydraulic clutch operation.

In LHD, the airbox interfered with the hydraulic cylinders on the firewall, so no LHD GX's.

one on the right in the foreground is a 56 series.... one on the left that we can see is a smooth case so id say 60 series, clutch fork is on the bottom so im thinking hydrolic clutch. One one the right at the back looks like a 60 aswell

The 56A is a 1:1 5-speed.

The one on the left looks like it could be a 63 series to me.

I thought 63 about the one on the left too, but its not massively bigger than the 56, and it doesnt seem longer.

edited for retarded spelling

i thought about it being a 63 but the mounts on it for the crossmember resemble the 60 very closely. Havnt seen a 63 in the flesh but id guess 60. Would check the side for the number to confirm

Edit: the top right is a cable operated 60 from what i can see so yea the bottom left would prob be a 63 then being hydro
