yep, it took a whole weekend. had to find all the spot welds drill them out and pull it up

easier way to do it if your not planning on using the floor again would be to just use a grinder and grind through the spot welds till the metal is really thin

then you can just rip the floor off the chassis rails

how so? as you only grinding through the floor bit, so after the floor is gone you would just have a few daggy bits left on the tops of the rails that need to be ground off

then you would have the same result as what you have now, but i guess it depends how well your spot weld drill bit works....i got over mine after about 10 spot welds

did you center punch the spot welds first and did you use a spot weld remover or just a normal drill bit

yeah ended up having to drill through the spot weld with a really small drill bit first as teh centre of the spot weld one got rather blunt rather quick

and the fact that sometimes it would just decide to drill straight through the panel

angle grinder was much more reliable

yeah there is a pic in my album

i was doing it as it made it easier to fit IRS
and the ute was/still kinda is a rusty heap of crap, so i thought i'd get rid of some of its rust

You can get a proper tool for drilling out spot welds.

yeah as datto1000wagon said, strickly burnout ute

im fixing it by replacing the whole chassis with RHS, replacing whole tray floor with new steel and tubs whole new floor inside the car whole new trans tunnel
then have fun getting rid of the worlds unwanted tyres
