You're all wrong, it looks exactly like the Dacia Logan...

Thing is that at least the Dacia is honest about what it is, and where it comes from. On the other end of the scale, Nissan ZA thinks we are a bunch of idiots, and are trying to sell it of as a "all new design".

I see no resemblence between the B140 1400 and a Ford Bantam:

Stop wondering and hearing things.

Here is the new bakkie;
New Nissan NP200

And here is it's Dacia brother;
Dacia brother

Now if anyone can point out much more than 4 very obvious differences, frond bumper, steering wheel, rubbing strips and badges, then they are very good. In fact as I said in my other thread, the Nissan is actually a stripped out version of the Dacia, it not having ABS, airbags, aircon and other things the Dacia comes with standard.

Also if you look at the engines, both use a 1.6l engine, and their outputs are the same, so they probably didn't even bother to fit a real Nissan engine, whatever that entails anymore...

They must think people are complete idiots...

It not just FWD, but also its not a Nissan. Its either built by Dacia or Renault and rebadged to say Nissan. It will be out here in South Africa in the 3rd quarter of this year.

I read it will be built by Nissan in the Roslyn factory, which is being retooled and improved at a cost of 1 Billion Rand.

FWD WWHHYY!!

1. FWD costs less to manufacture
2. Management (if not customers) wanted a newer vehicle, and there are no newer RWD designs
