Re: datsun shipping yard The farthest Coupe to the right looks like #931 "Sunflower Gold". like this? It seems Nissan Australia asked for brown, hence 'poo-brown' 1200s in Australia. And who can forget the 1978-1988 brown-only interior utes?

Re: datsun shipping yard DD an 'Op-Shop' is another name for a Brothel.
Nah, kidding and op-shop is like charity store some people call them a thrift shop?
I think the colour selections are interesting. I wonder if this was a reflection on the American 'tastes' at the time?

Re: datsun shipping yard You had me going there for a minute, i was trying to figure out why they would have old books for sale...
Yes colors were pretty bright around 1970. I don't recall soooo many Orange 1200, but do remember seeing some.
1000Deluxe, is that ship the Oppama Maru? Does the book say anything specific about the photo? I wonder if it was taken in Seattle or Vancouver.

Re: datsun shipping yard That's the photo I've been waiting for years to see! USA models no doubt by the all-red taillights, whitewall tires and 2-dr sedans.
What brochure did it come from? Can you send me a 300dpi scan in email?
