Re: New bits With a track day at Lakeside fast approaching I have fitted the following parts over the past few weeks: CA 15" alloys with new 195/50 and 205/50 Toyo R888 semi's. Rebuilt SR20DET front brake calipers with ADR approved braided lines and Intima intermediate brake pads. RDA slotted front 280mm rotors. Lucas intermediate rear brake pads. New 13/16" brake master cylinder. New race seat.
I have booked my car in to have another muffler fitted next week too as there are noise regs at Lakeside nowadays.
My wallet is hurting but I'm getting excited about racing on a track I haven't seen for over a decade. Matty

Re: New bits Yep SR20DET S13 Silvia brakes. I previously had the CA18DET ones which were fantastic. I have gone bigger as I have more horsepower now and things were starting to get hairy at QR.
I have 5 or so sets of 14" alloys and only one set would go over the calipers with a small amount of grinding on the edges of each caliper but I've chosen to go to 15" wheels for more semi slick options anyway. Cheers Matty

Re: New bits My mistake! I saw the reflection on the mega shiny new discs, and thought they were jutting in the way that the 280ZX rotor/hubs do. And I thought the threaded rotor removal off the hub holes were the back of the screw holes that hold the rotor to the hub. How wide is the friction area of the rotor, and how thick are they?
