Note the balancing weight holes. Do they put some lead-type compound in there?

The holes are drilled to remove weight, not to provide some place to add weight.

If additional weight is required, they use "Mallory Metal" which is more dense than even me, errr, I mean, more dense & therefore even heavier than lead.
