Here is a pic of the front view of the new engine.

SPECS:
Head - Ported, Tomei Cams, Rocker Stoppers, Adjustable Cam Gears, Sard 550cc Injectors.

Bottom end - Forged CP Pistons, Standard Crank & Rods (crack tested). Powerbond underdriven harmonic balancer, Winged & Baffled Sump (not pictured - still to be fitted)

Exhaust - Custom Manifold, GT2876r Turbo, Tial 38mm wastegate with Screamer pipe, braided oil & Water lines.

Should be on the dyno in about 2 weeks.

The only thing stopping me getting it back in the car is a Spiggot Bush in the back of the crank.

I went to install the clutch yesterday to realise there was no bush in the back of the crank......will have to wait to get one until the new week.....damn it!

those GT2876R's are damn nice.... I too use them on my Sr20 installs.

Yeah great turbo. I have to run a 36mm restrictor on the front of it, but it still does what I need it to do.

It's sitting on the bench (in pieces).

SR is lighter and the parts are available off the shelf.

The crank pulley is from a Melbourne company called Powerbond. It is a true harmonic balancer also - not just a crank pulley. It is still lighter & smaller (under driven) than the factory item.


They are very well made.... highly recommended. You can still pick them up on Ebay.
