I noticed the power brakes and that square thing above the webers. How does it work?

its a little alloy chamber i welded up, kinda like a multi port vacum box it shares a little vac from each port instead of stealing all vac from one port it also makes the twin webers more smooth in low rpm, most stock twin carb manifolds have some sort of cross port chamber this manifold being after market(redline) does not.
heres a sightly better pic

edit: yes i ended up panel beatin it straight i put a large bit of rhs between the stut towers and jacked it back outwards while hammering out the creases. it came up a treat..

 Re: Dam Roo
yea i think the bumper bar did its job.. was doing bout 130 when i saw him, probley down to 60 when i hit him wasnt a big roo just medium size,he didnt go under or over but more and less got push alone for a while, now i get to laugh at him each time i drive by for a coupe of weeks or untill somthing gets hugry From wat i can see the gaurd and rail dont look bent or twisted at all, i guess by checking with tape measure u mean compairing left and right sides distance from firewall to front of gaurds?? question for u smash repairers out there wat would be the general way about fixing this?? drill out the welds and replace the top(mabey bottom aswell??) half of the rad support or just panel beat it straight, i want it looking 95% when finished not with crease's and dents. I am confident i could cut and replace presuming i can get new panels, but if its easy to take it to a smash repair place and get it panel beaten mabey ill do that depending on price of course..

The rail the guard bolts to, pretty sure its called a-arm. It does look a little tweaked, some hours with block and tackle and a tree/stobie pole would fix that.

I suppose 120ys are pretty easy to come across, depends on how handy you are I guess whether you should persist with it or move on.

Get out that measuring tape and see how bent it is.

The damage doesn't look too bad considering a roo was involved. I've seen some pretty nasty roo hits before.
