I am interested in the full circle headlight surrounds.

I didn't think these were associated with the spear indicators (which also seem very long to me...like 510 long). They have a slight ridge on them so they may have been put on later.

There isn't a fuel cap lock either (photo 2), which I find interesting.

Velociti you should begin this in the project builds thread. From start, to finish. It would make a great read.
