Smoothed all the factory ripples and creases and re-seam sealed all the seams. I took it all back to bare metal by hand, which took forever... I would recommend anyone else doing a full resto like this to get the engine bay sand/media blasted. Much faster and easier on the fingers! Lol!

DatsAndy, yep that is another 1200 in the background. It's my South African GX sedan. If you look closely u can see the S.A. spec front bumper which is different to all other markets. They'r based on 1600 bumper bars actually, same on the rear. I also have my 1200 coupe and a hulf cut in there. Yep, 3 1200's and a half cut in a 6m X 9m shed, lol. It's a little cramped but I get by...

very nice i like ....yes your right it is very hard on the fingers,.....i ended up getting mine hole ute totaly sodablasted, save time really and cleaner finish
