It's a Sunpro Ultra something or other 10,000 rpm w/adjustable shift light...it's like 3 3/8" with a white face (as you can see). I think it was around $90 at either Schuck's Auto or Advance or Auto Zone. Fits right in the original tach slot!

That wire is for my radar detector. It has more than payed for itself ($65) by not getting me tickets. Some people don't like them because they claim "radar detectors don't work" they think it blocks the cops radar guns or something. It's all about technique speeding and using one of these. I simply don't speed unless I have someone to lead the way...then I get a ways behind him, match his speed, and when the cops radar hits the car in front of me, my radar detector picks it up and I'm able to slow down before the cops put the gun on me. I've only EVER gotten one speeding ticket in my 9 years of driving, and that's when I didn't use this technique.
