it really does look awesome....

I noticed the front has been cut open as well, seems like all the really nice installs go for this option, to make it much easier to install the engine, without doing any damage to the engine bay....

yea the hole front dismantals and you can pull the engine and g'box out all together...i was lucky enough to catch up with the builder of it, his a hotrod builder, aron wilson's old man built it for him...he spends most of his time in the us building hotrods and importing cars, great bloke!

personally I have no problems with a front being cut open, Just tells me the owner\builder has no desire to spend 3 days on something that can be done in less than a 12hours. If mine was not open in the front, it would take me about 3 days to pull the engine\gearbox, and then put it back again and the bulk of that time would be just to get the bell-housing bolts undone and done again... Believe me if you like to race your car, your going to love the Quick engine-swap option this gives you....

hey rotor...what a load of crok, ha 3 days to pull a motor out what are you doing,
and even 12hours,...you have no idea champ,
me less than 2 hours thats every thing un-done thats attached to it

i machined up a pair out of stainless and for the unsightly ugly strut tops aswell, sum personal touches, looks finished off

all the caps where machined by the builder,catch can's,bolt covers,hand break,gearshift knob,shock covers,fuel cell etc hand made, he said if he gets enough people wanting them his going to make more..without a dout the best quiltiy ive seen

I was referring to my own abilities there...

But yes, an hour for getting it out....
10 minutes to do to it what it had to be pulled for...
and 50minutes for getting it back in and running again.... I'm impressed... You are indeed THE DATOMASTER :)
