R the valve sizes, compression and camshaft timing different?
If not does the port angle and combustion shape make the extra hp?

Extra HP? Regular engine is 80HP, this round port A14 is 65HP. See FU Engine.

confused it with the a12 power figures oops!!

DD do you remember if anyone on the forum posted
cross section photos of the early pre 73 round
port heads?

I don't think so. There are cutaway sections of Oval Port head at Head Porting.
