 Re: Eastern Creek
Well I just got back from the supersprint at eastern creek and managed to wipe nearly 2 more seconds off my previous time with a 1:53.35. I think i can put it down to the new brake pads not causing the brakes to drag like the old ones were. Was hitting turn one just on the 8 grand limiter in top gear, so probably between 200-210 kph. Not bad for an A-series I thought.

EDIT: Just found out i was less than 0.2 away from the class record of 1:53.18. Bummer.

That's a pretty impressive speed.

I don't have a speedo in the car so I worked it out roughly using gear ratio, final drive ratio, tyre rolling circumference and engine rpm. I was following a 2 litre (B20a crank) DC2 type-r integra and he said was seeing 215 km/h and he may have been pulling away very slightly.

For some reason I managed to finish ahead of 'The Boss' by over two seconds with a 1:55.15. Hopefully I can do the same this weekend.

haha the boss is slipping
Better not do it too often or you might start getting all the horrible jobs for some reason :)

P.S. I love this car. I should have done mine like this. Maybe the next one.

Haha he's not my boss, Chris just has the nickname of 'The Boss' on this forum for some reason. I think it's probably because he's been on top of the datto heap for quite some time in the supersprints. Anyway, hopefully if I beat him some more he might get inspired to finish off his new car with CA16 power, that thing will be a weapon if it ever goes.
