Re: My collection of cars - reverse order The Escort Vans were much more suited to town work than country. I had a fleet of them in my area in the early 80's & they were not very popular at all. They did not like the unsurfaced rural roads that predominated & they didn't like much of a load either according to the tech's that drove them.
I had to replace several sets of struts in some of them over the years too. They bent. The town tech's didn't mind them.

Re: My collection of cars - reverse order I had one for a few years in the eighties, and remember it very fondly, if it hadnt gotten wrecked in a prang I might still have it, in practicality terms I think it was far superior to the 1200 ute that I replaced it with, and as for leg room and general comfort it left the 1200 ute for dead.

Re: My collection of cars - reverse order What was the "wagon" in the front used for? It looks funny to my US eyes. Nice collection!
