Re: 1200 at Bathurst Had two excellent days, nice and sunny, perfect temperatures.
The 3 datto's were all in the same class, 3J improved production 0-1600cc's
Saturday was an ascent through the esses, starting outside the Bathurst light car club clubhouse at the top of conrod straight and finishing at skyline. I took the honours with a new record time of 30.38, 0.88 below the previous record. Grant came home second with a 31.17, which was also below the old record, with Kurt picking up 3rd with a 31.71, which was a PB for him.

Re: 1200 at Bathurst Sunday saw us tackling mountain straight hillclimb, which at 1.7 km long, took almost twice the amount of time as saturdays climb. Grant took 3rd with a 59.52, Kurt took almost 2 seconds of his old record to clock a 56.95 and I took 4.17 seconds off Kurts old record with a 54.27, so it seems sedans are quicker than coupes.
All 3 1200's ran without problems all weekend, and were punching well above their weight in the outright standings of the combined times, out of 70 odd entries Grant ended up 39th, Kurt got 35th and I was 24th.
