Used 9mm L16 rod bolt, flywheel bolts with heads cut down and some plate, will thicken side plates at some point with a step so I can use original bushes.

Well it definitely works, just hope its not too notchy, thought I may as well change lots of things now while getting used to the car, I was playing with seating position today and will be much easier to drive sitting closer to the floor and further back.

Before I was having a bit of trouble getting it to downchange from 4th to 3rd, kept going 4th to 5th or when I really tried hard i selected 1st, which was a suprise under brakes... now feels much easier, but then that might change when I actually drive it.

interesting setup. do the across and up down shifts feel weird (eg 2nd to 3rd in a conventonal box) because of the short up down but now extended left to right movement?
