Here you go, this is when it was living in damp old victoria, looking alot nicer now though, has a 5K, 5spd with twin 40mm dellortos, elec ignition, battery relocation, 7x14 hotwires, and DATSUN 280zx struts with noltec coilovers, heaps more and now looking at a R31 shortened diff... this has had me (and my wallet) occupied for the last couple o' months.

Top little car, although its not a Datsun it has the same spirit that makes us love our Datsuns.

Thats cool where the gearstick comes out....
My brother and I used to have a neat little ke55 with a 2t and t50, sold it for like $200 and regretted it ever since.

Yeah, its a 68' Ke10. Got it from a deceased estate, now its taken over every plan i had for my lil' 1200. But i love it nontheless. Needs a respray now though, someone called 'f-u-c-k' decided to key their name in the drivers door when i first got it.

kegs 4agte??? what is this motor?

did you mean the 4agze the factory supercharged motor with about 135KW.

I know this is a datto site but "in my opinion" there wasnt much fun to be had in the datsun/nissan range during the early nighties except say the SSS. so I have therfor owned a number of Toyota a few being the corolla SX, two corolla seca SX and an imaculate corolla GTi that i sold to my brother in law all of which had the famous 4age motor and I must say that this is "ARGUABLY" one of the best 1.6ltr motor ever put together.

Now i know nissan have made some awesome engines and dont get me wrong but anyone thats driven one of these in either the earlier models approx 75KW or the later 100KW variants would have to agree its a sweet little motor.

Anyway just my opinion
for what its worth

Chris

Yea I'm also a big fan of the 4AGE motors. The 4AGTE is just a 4AGZE with the supercharger removed and a turbo fitted. I'm midway through this process myself. For a 1600cc motor the 4A series can make serious power and still be reliable, plus they are light, oh and parts are cheep and easy to find. Ok I'll stop... back to Datsuns!
