The reason why a standard S13 dump pipe can't be used: it actually sits against the idler arm.

To overcome this problem you cut the dump pipe where it kinks in the middle and turn the bottom piece until you get the desired clearence then get it rewelded it pretty much needs to be rotated 180 degrees give or take a bit, for it to fit right.
I've got my dump pipe in getting welded up at the moment
