 Re: finished car
the numba pl8 was one that my dad had lying round so i put it onto the car once it was finished cous the old pl8s were all bend and looked ####. It is a rally car . the engine is a A12 bored out to 1298 head and block decked to give 10:5:1 compression ratio very wild cam ports opend up huge double valve springs bottem end all balances e.g rods smoothed cranlk smoothed. i had the car out at the track today nearly put it on its lid at 120kmh under_steering wheels bit in fliped up onto 2 wheels gave the pit wall a good look at the under belly of a datsun lol lucky i think i need some stiffa springs lol

I think its a roof vent. You see them on alot of modern rally cars just normally theyre bigger and look similar to a bonnet scoop

 Re: finished car
i heard the theory behind these the other day (roof vents)
apparently the air rushing in their actually pressurise the cabin the tiniest bit, this then stops dust getting in through seals on windows and doors and stuff to keep the car clean and clear inside, and people swear they work!

This looks good! The yellow is very sporty. Can you give more details about the car?
