it's now time for engine no 5 in 4 years! 2x A12s the first 2 yrs then the A14 then the L20. since the L20 expired a few months ago the new motor is almost ready to put in,i splashed out this time and got someone else to rebuild it,and get it back next weekend. it is my mates old rally car motor,Satans Choice L18 has Z24 pistons, big cam, massive port job, extremely shaved head and they took 4mm off each bore so i think its sleeved he said.not sure what rods they are using.i am also using the electronic dizzy and twin 45 webbers from the L20. it would cost about 6 grand to build so im grateful to Mike T for giving me this engine.

That's the way to go. You will have all the parts you need, and much cheaper than buying an engine alone.

yes,i hopefully will be able to use lca's and stuff to fit the L series struts so it will stop and hopefully someone will want parts from it to recoup the cost of trailer hire etc.
