N14 radiator installed

26mm 2 row N14 radiator (aftermarket). i used factory N14 (larger of the two) dual speed fan and it just fits! (slight mods incase engine jumps around a bit). rad front mounts are from a N15 i think and bottom rubber stops are used as well. radiator itself sits in between the bolts for the front bumper bar, very snug. i also put metal flyscreen on the open parts of the radiator too. this rad keeps the 1200's factory temp needle just below the middle mark when driving sanely. dual speed fan on top speed is much more effective than old 10" davies craig elec fan, staying on for only about 15-30 seconds if stuck in traffic. |

Re: N14 radiator installed well the stock fan i was using was too big. the wiring from it started to wear against the rubber belt near the alternator, until it was down to the copper. ive had to swap back to the 10" elec fan. lots more room in there now and fan does a good enough job in traffic. it can take 15-20 mins of driving on the street to get the head to go above 60 celcius!

Re: N14 radiator installed nice, ive been using the same aftermarket rad in my datto for about 6 years, i run twin 10" dc fans in mine
they are a good fit in 1200's, and with some shrouding it has always kept my ported rotor cool, in traffic and even on the race track

Re: N14 radiator installed I used anges old one after he hit twin core. Core and tank size pretty much identical to s13 stock unit, only top tank differed with the cap placement in the center and bottom hose out let. It used same bottom mount locations too
