i had been meaning to do this for a long time and now its done. all the parts came from weberperformance.com.au. i also made a new heat shield from bunnings materials, which works very well. (too hot to touch manifold and way too hot to touch exhaust headers, but COLD to touch dcoe's - even after a 20min drive) |

Re: twin dcoe's rebuilt and much improved response they are nice and clean again and im using thackery washers to mount to the dcoes onto the intake manifold now, not the soft mount rubber ones which just perish and fail. 4 cans of carby cleaner later and approx $300 of parts from the above website, shes running like never before. (too rich on accel though so needs some tweaking, bogs down hard eheh)
edit: lol, one of my pump springs was completely broken, but was still sort of working due to it being on the slave dcoe. i recommend you break down and repair your dcoes if you have an old set - its easy ! :)
