Head Bolts for A12

'13' head bolts are recommended for all engines. They are high-tensile chromoly V steel.
Note 'T' bolt for center of early A12 engine. This is a low-torque bolt. Better to use the GX '13' center bolt. |

Re: Head Bolts for A12 Not sure. I believe the '12' bolts are good for 40-43 ft-lb.
The '13' bolts for sure are good for 51-54 ft-lb -- you will have no head gasket problems with the '13' bolts.
