Clutch Disc is designed for drag and road race use only. The solid hub metallic button discs are capable of withstanding the highest possible loads that can be transmitted through a disc of its size. This disc design allows fast shifting at any RPM without risk of blow-up. These discs are extremely popular where the clutch has to be slipped: drag racing; road racing from a standing start or stock car racing. An additional benefit: coefficient of friction remains very high even when the friction surfaces become contaminated.
