Re: Race Brakes 1200 coupe Just thought id post a pic of the front brakes on the coupe. I'm a bit restless while I wait for some clutch plates to turn up from the UK.
Rotors are floating AP, Calipers are PFC. Probably overkill for the Datto but they were cheap. Rotors and hats are SH ex Nascar rears. I just redrilled them to 4 stud and had them ground to clean them up a bit.

Re: Race Brakes 1200 coupe What hubs are you running? Assuming they fit un 15" wheels for IP. Interesting that you can get them to fit on the trailing side of the strut. I always end up hitting the steering arm whith larger brakes.

Re: Race Brakes 1200 coupe G,day Bryan, Yeah, they fit under 15x7's. the rotors are 309mm and I use a 45mm roll center spacer under the strut and above the steering arm. This helps with caliper clearance. With the caliper at the rear, I can also get the 4" brake ducting in the front. Its a 180B stub from memory. Hope that helps. What hub are you using?

Re: Race Brakes 1200 coupe Awesome setup. did you make the nationals? If so how did the new brakes feel? Im running stanza hubs and rx7 calipers with 296mm rotors. If i remember correctly not much difference to the 180b hubs/struts. In due coruse would like to make the hubs out of alloy. Have them drawn on CAD just a bit lazy in getting them made. Focus for me is getting the rear end sorted. Sway bar installed kaaz lsd inbound. Will see if i can get drive with that change. have you tried running without the front roll centre spacers? I have some too but unsure if the benifit the front end grip.
