Re: SR20 ute that front looks awesome, the lip has been taken off my bonnet and it makes it tidy i reckon, but this is one step better, that looks so cool and would have been a fair bit of work to do
i really like the way he has painted the grill, and the badges on the grill are awesome too
the numberplate covering the IC looks like bad planning but i pressume he takes the plate off for track work

Re: SR20 ute The bonnet mod and the way the grille's painted makes it look like a 1st generation Mustang

Re: SR20 ute The 1200 has some Ford-like elements. Sure does.Quote: The body form is very good but we don't much like the Mustang-like grille, side vents (although functional) and wheel covers. reference: Nov 1970 Road & Track road-test of the 1200 coupe

Re: SR20 ute There's just not a lot of places to put a numberplate on this one, is there? The slimline NSW one would be better, but not a lot.

Re: SR20 ute Once again, not a fan in any way of the "intercooler for a bumper" look, and that intercooler looks small enough to be able to fit in the engine bay. Other than that, it looks awesome...actually thinking of painting my grill the same way, makes it look even more like an old 'Stang which isn't a bad thing!

Re: SR20 ute That grill looks very schmic. I kinda like how little the intercooler is, it doesn't take too much away from the front. Are those bonnet clips on the top of the bonnet, or something else?
