I need an interior light too... I remember once that i saw a rear view mirror with little spot lights installed in it... But i cant remeber what car it was from! If anyone know of such a car please let me know, cause it would solve two problems at once...

1985 toyota tarago had the rear view mirror with spot lights on it.
I think an 89 prelude does as well.
As for chrome ones, I think you may have to get it chromed. As I think it would be a legality thing with the chrome being reflective and shining in the faces of drivers going the opposite way to you and driving away from the sun...
But because it is a n old car... You may be able to get away with it...

Its cool i ended up getting a mirror off an old xe or xd falcon for
$6, (the good thing about it is that it sticks to the windscreen instead of the roof- so i wont need to cut my new roof lining)

I was at a wrecker looking for a new interior light(or at least an interior light cover) so i can connect it with the door sensors that i put in....HOLY CRAP they are hard to find...

In the end I gave up & was looking at a 2000 model rodeo ute that was crashed and would you believe it? THE INTERIOR LIGHT is the same size and shape as the standard datsun one, but with a door sensor setting!!! $5 later and i was cheering

Its actually only attached with two screws, but the light is positioned at the back of the cabin- Ive never seen one like it on any other model datsun (except the utes). The ones at the wrecking yards all had circular ones mounted in the middle of the cabin.

u dont need to buy a datsun one just go to a car shop, and buy any kind of chrome one. uve got no interior so just mod. the car slightly to make it fit then cover up wat u dont wanna see with the headlining.
