I am guessing its 3 or 4mm steam pipe. Thats what they usually make turbo manifolds out of.

Looking good, I bet you'll have some fun welding the 2 centre exhaust pipes . Things get pretty tight.

What is the turbo off? It also seems to be very low in the bay. I have an A14 turboed but it is much higher and further forward. I was just wondering how easy it would be to work on

Hi, it was a real challenge to make this manifold but very fun......
I am using two Dellorto 40H but I am planning to buy a electronical injection/ignition unit!!
I have two turbos but the one on the pic is a IHI rhb5, the other one is a MHI 13G!!

 Re: A15 turbo exhaustheader
good to see some else not scared of using straight pipe.
seriously, i have to wonder about the effectiveness of these 'spaghetti' manifolds we're starting to see now...

looks good though. top job. using cast pipe too which is always the way to go. just make sure the manifold doesn't take the weight of the turbo all by itself.
