Re: my chrome a15 rocker cover Nissan decided to drop the Datsun name sometime in the late 70's, but there was such a loyal following for Datsun's that they did not want to just drop it, so they started adding the Nissan name to Datsuns, & for a while, 200B's then Bluebirds & other models became Nissan Datsuns.
About '85 or so, they started leaving the Datsun badges off as we were all accustomed to the Nissan name on our favorite cars by then, so the Datsun name quietly slipped beneath the waves, without a trace. The name on the rocker covers changed along with the external badges too, which is why a Datsun 180B has a Datsun "L" series engine, but my late 200B has a Nissan "L" series engine in the Nissan Datsun body.

Re: my chrome a15 rocker cover Looks unreal.....but on the flip side, crome rocker covers tend to retain a lot more heat. Not recommended for racing applications or hot street engines.

Re: my chrome a15 rocker cover I had a spare Nissan one, While I was doing the head on mine, I ground the "Nissan" off of it and painted it up and it looks very pretty now...
