I had these Skyline rims powder coated a couple of weeks ago....They should look pretty good on the 1200 coupe

yep, they're off an R30. I bought a set from the wreckers for one of my Skylines. Mine don't look as pretty as these though...

i was thinking of getting them, love to see a pic on car, how much did powder coat cost?, i actually heard powder coating is not such a good idea because ou cant see cracks in the rim, but i dont think that should be too big a problem

1200RC
Short of impact damage, i suspect that the chances of these rims developing cracks in service, under a 1200, is fairly slim.

I would suggest trial fitting the mag wheel washers in the holes before fitting them to the car as the holes are now smaller due to the powder, & some washers are a bit snug in there in an uncoated wheel. It would be a shame to damage the powder coating this way & it might be necessary to get smaller washers, or machine yours if they don't just drop in.

They are nice wheels.
