Re: H145 or H165 Diff? 2 When the Diff centre bolts in, this means it's an H165. If the diff centre mounted on studs, then it'd be a H145. Brent's discussion on H145 vs. H165Hope this helps. Chris

and no yoke change just a leaky diff i think, is that bad??

Re: H145 or H165 Diff? 2 A stud (no jokes) has a thread on each end, and generally no thread in the middle. A bolt has a hexagonal end that a spanner fits ove, and a thread on the other end.
It's that simple. Brents picture looks like it has the nuts on the "studs" in the diff at the top of the picture.
