This is a charming little number for the CA18DET of a customer. It weighs in at 5.050 kg's as compared with the 14 kg of the stock one. Will look good topped of with an EXEDY sports clutch!!!!!

They are $650 with a trade in flywheel (or auto flexplate) for the ring gear. Supply a new ring gear if desired.

They give excellent response, as they weigh 9 kg less than stock unit.

The down side is you dont get that flywheel effect on hills allowing you to lug the engine at low revs.

dattoman_1000,
You guessed in one. A lovely bit of kit that is so finely balanced, my last one didnt need a 0.25 gram taken of anywhere!!

Very smart operator!

Yep he does good work
After I had the clutch installed I had the whole assy balanced.
There is one small "scrape" along the back of the unit. Hardly noticeable. And this was to compensate for the plates. The flywheel itself is true.
Highly recommended machinest.
Shame he's so far away....and won't sell me the efi hardware (contract deal)
