I bought myself a new digital camera & this is the first picture. The rubbish on the roof will be gone in the morning.

It was in the wreckers "used, but damaged whole cars" yard. Not in the "cars for wrecking" part.

This is prety much how it came from the wrecking yard where i bought it.
Has anyone seen the vinyl roof on another 1000 coupe? It is a factory job as it shows in my parts book.
The mags may or may not be used as i have another set of dimentionally identical wheels of another style.

The camera cost a motza so i will practice with it tomorrow & inflict a few more pictures on you poor unsuspecting souls.

EDIT. The vinyl top is not 'factory', but was installed by the N.S.W. Datsun distributor [Capitol Motors] as a tart-up item to draw in the public.
I now refer to vehicles that were done up like this as showroom drawcards by Capitol Motors N.S.W. as 'Capitol Motors Specials' This practice was carried out on pretty much all the different Datsun models for many years.

The factory vinyl top seems not to have been offered in Australia & is different in the rear part as it finishes before the deck lid.

Losing interest? I haven't lost it in many many years, but i work six, & sometimes seven days a week. Tomorrow is the only day off over this holliday weekend, so i don't get much time to do anything. All i need is money, time, & to get my shed back.

i know how it is mate ive been working six shifts the last coupla months trying to save for my engine, doing 40 plus hours a week, and at 9 dollars an hour it takes a damn long time to get where i wanna get, and to make it worse ur feeding a family and paying a mortgage u must have a strong will not to lose sight of the goal.

OK, OK, i just twigged. When i wrote about the rubbish on the roof, i was refering to the RUBBISH, [blankets & plastic & stuff] not the flag. It's not rubbish, it's good sh##.

Never mind, it looks like i sucked a few in without realising it.
