This is the fuel inflicted A15 in the Boss' coupe. It's not only hard to catch, but hard to kill too. Since fitting the harmonic balancer, reliability has improved enormously

Ooops, i got it wrong.
The harmonic balancer in the previous photo is a custom made one with a smaller pulley diameter
The one in these pictures is the Falcon one.
A custom hub was made & a new balancer from a mid '60's Falcon was used as it was just laying around. Notice that the pulley is machined into the rim of the outer ring.
It was abandined because the diameter of the pulley was too big & it spun the pump & altenator too fast

The new one [previous post] has the balancer in front of the pulley, allowing for the substantial reduction in pulley diameter.

i talked to ross balancers at blacktown in sydney about a harmonic balancer last year,& they want $500 for a custom made harmonic balancer.i know someone who got one made by them & it made a huge difference, but it's still a lot of money.shows that it pays if you can do it yourself.

Matsuoka sells ATI dampners for the A series which are the best you can get just about...only problem is the price...88,000 Yen, or about $800 US

EFI, yes any angle. Note the injectors.

Carbs, they have to sit at a certain angle for the floats to work correctly.

The fuel injection on this one is also pretty much home made. [See also Scabby coupe's engine]

It's a highly modified Falcon one. Probably from a six, & it's pretty much a one-off. I will try to find out some more details.
Drop Feral a line & see if he has developed anything along this path.

I don't know if the picture is much good to you, but you can probably tell that the balancer is attached to a stock-ish pulley.
