A12 block, 1500 head, 32/36 weber, extractors, and a nice wild cam starts at about 5000 rpm.

Building myself a new motor though
A14 block, A15 head, twin 40mm dellortos
should be in the car within a few months before the next rally.

Just fitted an option 1 5 speed which is awesome for the rallys im doin!

Can you please give some information on what you did to the 1500 head.
Is it the A15 head?
Is your comp 9:1 or did you do something to send it up a bit.
I am also thinking of fitting a A15 head to a A12 when I will build a race engine in the future.
I do not want to use my GX head.
They are too scarse.

not alot really, just got it checked over by a local head company, and added different valve springs so it revs to 9000 very comfortably
