This "bullet" style of mirror was first seen on the KB10's as far as the small Datsuns go, but these look to me to be factory accessory units, not factory options. In my view,they do not add to the style or beauty of the car. Perhaps if they were chrome.

This one looks to be a poverty pack version as it does not have the blue pinstripe down the side, nor does it have the coupe hubcaps. It also seems to lack any "DeLuxe" badging. Standard coupe's even listed the tach as an option, as was the stripe.

The only version of the coupe that was sold in Australia seems to have been the DeLuxe, & these came with the tach & stripe as standard. A fair few other bits were standard as well that were only available as options in Japan.

Well, I have learned many things in the two years since this was posted.
After seeing these on a number of cars, they have grown on me. I don't mind them at all these days.

The mirrors look to be Sunny Coupe GL items [KB10- GL] They were not 'optional' on any other model, but could be bought as a spare part. This coupe looks like it might be a well used lesser model that has been fitted with the GL [Grande Luxe] mirrors.
