I spend all my time thinking that the best you can get is chrome on any mechanical bit on a car. Chrome parts are like a diamond finish compared to a rough stone.

What these are worth, & what they cost can be two totally different things.

Mine cost me $777.76 delivered on the 30th of July 2004.

Various estimates currently put them at somewhere between $900 & $1,000 but check with Rocket Industries as they still list them. Yella Terra, who also show them on their website, do not sell to the public.

While you're here, have another look at the cylinder head. Notice the intake port bulges in the floor of the rocker chamber?
This is the real deal Datsunsport/Nissansport/Nismo competition cylinder head. Look at it & absorb the beauty.
It might be the only one you ever see.

You know, with the sudden spurt in sales of these things, perhaps you should really think of adding a clear perspex rocker cover to your product range.

Lets face it, with something this nice, half of the fun is in SHOWING it to somebody.

I have seen this head, & indeed, the guides ARE short. In fact, from memory, inside the port, they do not exist at all, so the rollers really are a good idea.
Save the Nismo rockers for a slightly lesser engine.

 Re: Yella Terra roller rockers
Electroplating weakens the structure
Thats why yella terra doesn't do it
Yet most other comapnies do.....to attract the posers.

 Re: Yella Terra roller rockers
Colouring on aluminium is done by a process called "anodising" They are not electroplated, & like electroplating, anodising weakens the object that the process is applied to. With chrome plating, it's called "hydrogen embrittlement" & i didn't know about the anodising problem untill the Yella Terra man told me about it.

One of the features of these rockers is the [claimed] huge increase in strength over the originals & they are not anodised so as to retain the maximum possible strength.
Well, thats what i was told anyway.

I bought them because of the performance attributes, not their pretty colour

Edit
Dattoman-1000 you beat me to it by seconds.
