can this brake booster be to big as it does not seem to be working i dont think it leaking as the motor does not run rough when i put my foot on the brake i am not sure what this booster is off of but my brakes feel yhard as a rock will i need a smaller booster?????????

Do you have the large vacuum hose from the booster to the intake manifold connected? Don't see it there...

Tens and Twenties is right. The 'boost' for the brake booster is provided by manifold vacuum from the running engine via a hose and a one way valve.
If there is a hose there, it's well hidden.

I don't remember that the original 1200 manifold had provision for the booster's vacuum fitting, so it might be necessary to find an inlet manifold from a late 120Y as these had boosted brakes and the manifold should have provision for the fitting.

Also a good place to get the check valve from too.

this picture was taken long before i got the car on the road it has the vacume line and also an a14 motor now so that is not the problem

if its got the vacuum line connected and the one-way valve is correctly oriented, then its got to be the booster. Looks to me like a 200B unit, but that's just a guess. Go and compare it to some in a wrecking yard.
