thinking of doing the road car this colour
what does everyone reckon, would look good with some white wheels too i reckon
colour code the bumpers and flares maybe a black bonnet?
i know it's a commodore, but i've put it to it's only good use (colour testing) |

Re: This color for my car?? (1200RC) It's a really nice colour, & as i had writen in another thread, Datsun coupes look really good in bright red.
I know that it is a brand X colour, but fortunately, it fits any shape car, so if you like it, then go for it.
As for the bumper situation, those other styles were mostly just fads & it's hard to improve on a classic style. Restore the bodyshell, & upgrade the car. It's an unbeatable combination. Well,... thats my view.

Re: This color for my car?? (1200RC) It is very close to the colour you have allready, which I like. They are both great, commodore a bit brighter, Dark red is allways cool.

Re: This color for my car?? (1200RC) looks good 1200rc...
would look tops on your coupe...
if i were you i would colour code the flares... but not the bumpers...
and i would go colour on the bonnet not black...
just my opinion...

Re: This color for my car?? (1200RC) yeah it looks similar to my avatar picture, but my car is a fair bit darker than it looks in the avatar, and has no shine at all
i think your right about the bonnet ange, i definately want to paint the bumpers, just not sure if i should go black or colour coded
i like updating my car and i reckon chrome bumpers is 70's, black is 80's and coded is 90's, hence im thinking colour coded

Re: This color for my car?? (1200RC) shiny black hood, shiny black flares, unsure about bumpers inclined to say stay chrome. Just my humble opinion.

Re: This color for my car?? (1200RC) who knows dattodevil, probably like you had removed the bumpers and smoothed it over a bit, but just look at any late model car and you will see the bumper is pretty much just a buldge in the bodywork

Re: This color for my car?? (1200RC) so you don't want to go that modern? it would be an interesting look if done right.
