The carby is actually off a 1.6l cortina. As for the water heated manifold I really don't think it would make that much difference. I think Fast and the Furious have given people a false idea that pod/cold air intakes generate huge amounts of horsepower. For a race engine I would worry about intake heat but for a mild street car I don't recon it is that big of an issue.

Agreed, it won't give a big HP boost. It might be worth just a little, and only if you tune the carb to match the new lower temperatures.

That's a Weber DGV design. Does the Ford version use 32/36 bores?. The venturi sizes are listed on the side of the carb.

The aircleaner is a Redline Performance one, made for weber 32/36.

Yeah DD its off a 1600 cortina and it does have 32/36 venturi sizes.

Tommy my radiator is an a14 one an it works great. Sits at around a quarter of the way up and sometimes gets close to half in summer. Yours too should be adequate.
Theres a few things you could check.
1) If timing is retarded too much it will increase heat.
2) When hooking everything back up did you make sure it is a flowing in the right direction.

The gemini radiator would definitely be worth getting but the A15 item should be adequate. Its not damaged at all is it?

Its an a14 with extractors into 2" exhaust, 32/36 weber, 25/65 cam, head ported and the compression raised up to around the 10:1 range so its running on premium now.
