ive never seen a 1200 dash with cracks actually, not anyones not even ones at wreckers, maybe its got to do with climate but a lot of older cars here have cracked dashes just not 1200's

OMG you shop at Supercheap too?
The seat cover looks brown in the pic. They are actually black and grey.

The dash had been revinyled. Its not a bad job, but has a big bubble near the handbrake light.

OMG! you have a handbrake light?

guess they made some advancements after 1971!

Maybe when I go shopping at a wreckers next time I will have to watch out for a non crakced dash. Never thought of it until now...

Here is the page that my interior is on:

*My Interior*

I think my seat covers actually came from K-Mart.
Not that I have anything against Supercheap. I have to make sure someone goes with me whenever I go there otherwise I will buy too much stuff that I don't need....

Oh yeah, did you pay to get your dash revinyled? (sp?) Or did you do it yourself?

Either way how much did it cost?

the handbrake light on a 1200 coupe is simple, there's a yellow wire coming out of the loom with a spade fitting, this connects to the 'spare' light on the right hand side.you just have to get a handbrake from a sunny,or a stanza,& run a wire from the loom to the handbrake.what will then happen is all your smartarse friends will tell you the alternator isn't charging.this doesn't work for sedans or wagons with the strip speedo, unfortuneately.
