the grilles metal so if you wanted it chromed you can get it done. plastic can even be chromed these days

i'd suggest the same as Snowy, give it a good clean, i used hot water and jif, the chrome strips up the middle, top and bottom should come up nice, then gloss black the blue stuff i did mine a while ago and it came up sweet i'll take a pic and post it tomorrow

I wasn't overly keen on it myself, but i thought i'd give it a try. i can't see a stripe in that colour looking too good though.
I'm planning on painting it white just like the car.

i think the best bet would be to chrome the whole grill, its steel isnt it?

Black. Paint all of the blue bits black and leave the centre bar chromed.. Can't go wrong that way.

my ute as pictured in my avatar has a white grill...

but you guys have convinced me
either black or chrome...

anyone have a rough price on chroming this?
I need to get my bumper straightened aswell. could i take that to any panel shop?

hey who your datty 1200, that middle badge colouring, is that standard? it looks good. i've decided on the black, and i was thinking of doing the same colour badge aswell

I dont think that its a standard thing with the badge coloured. Just did it for something different.
