Just fitted Steve Draheims brilliant fibreglass flare kit to the coupe. In an hour it just tranfroms the car so much, and may even produce some downforce too...at at least negate some positive lift.

Tom210 the flare kit all up is $600
It may fit a 120Y with extensive mods
Harry, I have some brake ducting but I was going to ask you..something.
The brake calpiers are at the rear of the car so do I cool the caliper or the disc?
My thoughts are to get as much cooling on the disc surface area as I can. I believe that the disc itself is the primary source of heat transfer...

if its a vented disc, the ducting should de directed into the cooling vanes closest to the hub - ie at the centre of the disc. If you have solid discs like I've got at the moment, it doesn't really matter so much where the cooling air is directed. My gut feel is that it would probably be better to point it at the bottom of the caliper where the disc is entering the caliper, but I don't have anything to back that hunch up. I just took the easy option and simply aimed the duct at the disc in front of the strut.

What wheels have you got on the car now?

Craig,

The brake ducts which were on my car went into the back of the rotor.....I assume the air then passed through the rotor and out through the outside edge.

I just removed mine (temporarily) as the sway bar I have was fouling on them. Once we do some testing, I will have a new bar made to clear the ducts.

The wheels are Bathurst Globe (perfromance) 14x7's all around..
I will be running a 195/60/14 A032R control tyre on it, which should make it rather grippy.
