thanks shaun, the guages are mounted in a 3 hole gauge plate screwed to the underside of the vent infront of the heater box. i'll take a pick in the light so it can all be seen.

With the tachco down there you would be able to watch the road at the same time as you get up her. But the guages do look good.

 Re: finally ....
That would be a tough place to see the tacho from, why not mount the tacho on the steering column surround? easier to see, my tachometer is factory so i have no need to find a spot for an aftermarket one. but i thought it was just as bad in cops eyes to have gauges out of view like having them obstructing view?

might just be a W.A thing......

i guess i find out when i finish my custom console!!

some daytime pics would be good

 Re: finally ....
thanks 2332 owner for sticking the pic in the thread ... i've got know idea on that stuff
anyhow's ..... in regards to seeing the guages clearly, there's no problem there -
they're 2 5/8th dia and the guage plate is offset toward the passenger door and twisted slightly to the drivers, bit hard to tell from pic,
i don't have the need to be watching the guages the whole time i'm driving as i feel it's much safer to be watching the road ...
or the lancer you just left standing at the last set of lights
a quick glance is all that's neccessary to make sure the needles are all in the right place, thanks for your concerns Team_Dat.
