Ange good question Are there any more green utes out there?

your right there is Mrturbos green sr20 and another with flames airbrushed over the front and a whopping big intercooler hanging out the front.

Being in MElb you wont see it but for those of you in Brissie watch Brisbane extra tonight at 5.30 and you may see the green ute on TV.

yeah yeah yeah I also no of a product to remove scratches, but why put them there in the first place????????

well we went to the sign writers today and he is doing up some samples for me. will let you all know the results.

NOWET is already in Victoria and yes franchises are available

I met with Ch 9 Brisbane extra today in Brisbane at Predator motorsport and we should be on TV either Fri or Mon as in 29th Fri or the following monday.

I'll let you know if this changes.

Cheers

Re: Work Ute Not Bad Hey?
yeah put the sign on your ute. That way you can write it off on tax as ADVERTISMENT

Looks great, how does this waterless wash work??

damo,
check out www.nowetcarwash.com.au for all the details but to cut a long story short its like hand polishing a car with a special solution "NOWET" you spray it on and any dirt becomes trapped in the solution so you can safely wipe it away without scratching the paint, leaving behind a layer of canuba wax that you then polish and then buff off. Its as simple as that and does work.

Im meeting with ch 9 tomorrow in Brisbane so keep your eyes open. I'll let you know when its going to air.

Chris

Get the signage. There's a company that does magnetic signs. That way you can take them off whenever you want, and you can reuse them if you end up selling the ute (not recommended that you sell it)

How much stuff is in the trailer??
otherwise invest in a canopy or something, and put the stuff in the back of the ute... (I'd hate towing a trailer behind my ute, especially if its empty)

oh, and are ya getting matching rims for the trailer aswell???

Re: Work Ute Not Bad Hey?
there's enough stuff to warrant a trailer yet not enough to weigh it down to much, and magnetic signs scratch the paint. But im with you all. To the sign writers I go and yeah matching rims why not will have to wait a bit though as it is its taken 3 weeks so far and they hav not turned up for the ute yet.

so do i go the conservative signwiting or the race car look diagnally down the side of the ute and across the bonnet etc

id say just do something like whats on the trailer you will get enough attention from ppl seeing the green flash hehe
but i would be making the web adress stand out and the waterless carwash stand out, maybe people will see no wet and think its a showerproofing business or something u know what i mean. very cool work ute nonetheless i wish i could get paid to drive my ute around all day...... not after a black nowet ute are u ??? hehehehe

hey Ill have to be honest here I came very close to painting my ute BLACK but as I was in a hurry to get up and running i didnt have the time or want to spend the extra money in getting the body absolutly perfect for a dark colour as you would now you can see every ripple in a black car. This ute has been built in 6 weeks. So non metallic green was the solution there are a few ripples there but no more then say a new ALFA ha ha ha

I think you only need small logo's down the side of the ute saying the name, and because you dont want to cover the ute too much,...the big selling point will be on the back of the tray! cause thats what people will be looking directly at when everyone is drving behind you (while your hooning ahead of them all ), and then some contact numbers on the back of tray and then a website sticker for your business on the back window with contact number and name...

The ute signage will only be when your not pulling the trailer (because when you have the tralier when your working thats enough signage by its self) so say weekends and social times for you, so dont kill the ute with too much just enough in the right places

Just my thoughts anyway

When the business expands to Victoria if you have the signage all over the ute you can give it to me and I will drive it around for you providing free advertising...

What a deal, cruise Lygon Shtreet-mate or Chappel Schtreet and imagine all the business you will get.

(P.S. nice ute. Wish my "office" looked like that. )
