OK, what would they call a cortina in the states OR do you think that part number would be the same here?

It is called a "Ford Cortina". For details, see Wikipedia - Cortina

 Re: engine mounts
I've used these on my Stanza Rally Car and keep breaking them! I dont even run an engine fan which can put stress on the mounts.

Dont know if a bad batch or not but have always got them covered by warranty.

Other people I know use them and have no problem

We used these in the FJ20 Sunny we were building and I remember paying about $50 each for them.

I pay around $40 each for mine. Thats trade price I have bought quite a few sets to go with the ca18 crossmembers I used to make $40-$50 sounds about right
Cheers Andrew

 Re: engine mounts
Benny,
These are the heavy duty engine mounts we were talking about. Broken engine mounts are a common thing in rally cars and this fixes the problem. Mounts are polyurethane and come out of a ford cortina and last for years of competition. I use the same mounts on the gearbox crossmember as well.

Cheers,

Paul.

Paul,

Early or late cortinas?. Std equipment or aftermarket. Cheers and thanks for the pic.

 Re: engine mounts
They are the exact same engine mount I use with the CA18 into 1200 crossmembers. Part number MT8156N. Kelpro make them.
Cheers Andrew

 Re: engine mounts
That sounds about right Andrew, thanks for posting the part number, saved me looking through old paperwork.
Benny, I usually just go to a good parts place and ask for cortina engine mounts and this is what they give me. Maybe there are two types, these are about 70mm in dia.
