 Re: floor pan
This pic shows the rear floor pans in my rally coupe after many hours of repairs, straightening and welding and stitching the seams after rocks bent and damaged much of the pans. Also manufactured and fitted traction bars to the rear to stop leaf spring wind up. Heaps of work to get it all back to near original shape.
Now its on to the next thing on the list

L18_B110,
Tool box and first aid box are rolled out of 1mm Alloy sheet and TIGed up etc. Wanted to keep the weight down as much as possible. Tool box is strong enough to do its job but I wouldnt want to make it any thinner.
Benny, it goes good

 Re: floor pan
People often say that to me but I love rally and building good strong cars.
Dont get me wrong, I dont thrash it through the forests flat out everywhere like others would, unfortunately my budget doesnt stretch that far. I still drive it hard but respect it due to the years of development that have gone into it and dont believe in destroying it just to be a few seconds quicker here and there. I compete for the fun of it these days and dont like playing "chicken" with big trees
