i have had this sitting in a b110 sitting in my back yard for 12 mounths and didnt realise
is it a gx head or an a14 head.
Its on a b210 engine and does not have double valve springs  the numbers do not match any thing in the tech section.Would this be better on my a14 build than the head in my other picture

Does not look like a gx head to me as it only has small round port manifold and single carby. If it where a GX it would have oval ports and twin SU's round port manifolds dont fit on GX heads.

How a manifold bolts on is more dependent on the Year, rather than round-port vs. oval port.

Early round ports (1971-1973), like this.
Later round ports (1974-up) like that.

A-type Cylinder Heads

M30 heads are late model A12s:
* new intake bolt pattern
* no oil hole on head face
* round port

If it is a dry intake (no water holes below the round ports) then it is probably a late model B120 head.

Go to Cylinder Head Part Numbers , and use Find to look for M30
